Nearly Forgotten Cosmological Concept of E. B. Gliner

چکیده
E. B. Gliner started his scientific career in 1963 at the age of 40. In 1965, when existence cosmological constant $\lambda$ seemed unnecessary to most cosmologists, he renewed interest problem by emphasizing a material interpretation de Sitter space (i.e., curved presence $\lambda$). According that interpretation, curvature is produced vacuum (now identified as dark energy universe). 1970, proposed description exponential expansion (or contraction) universe early late) evolution stage dominated vacuum. 1975, (with I.G. Dyminikova) suggested model free Big Bang singularity, and developed scenario nonsingular Friedmann cosmology. Many these findings were used modern inflation scenarios universe, first A.A. Starobinsky (1979) A. Guth (1981) greatly multiplied later. However, differ from Dymnikova, Gliner's contribution cosmology nearly forgotten. The history essence this are outlined, well difference theories.

The "Testing" Phenomenon: Not Gone but Nearly Forgotten
The "testing" phenomenon refers to the finding that students who take a test on material between the time they first study and the time they take a final test remember more of the material than students who do not take an intervening test. 4 experiments examined the testing phenomenon in student's memory for brief passages and labels for parts of flowers. Experiments la and lb demonstrated the ...
متن کامل90 Y-ibritumomab tiuxetan: a nearly forgotten opportunity
Y-ibritumomab tiuxetan (90Y-IT) combines the benefits of a monoclonal antibody with the efficacy of radiation in the treatment of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), a remarkably radiosensitive hematologic malignancy. 90Y-IT activity has been well established in the indolent setting, being approved in front-line treatment of follicular lymphoma (FL) patients as well as salvage therapy. However, ...
متن کاملCompensation neurosis: a too quickly forgotten concept?
There has been great debate concerning the existence and meaning of compensation neurosis. It is included in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-9 and -10 but not listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR). On the eve of publication of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-...
متن کاملVitamins and Minerals: The Forgotten Vitamin E
When most people think of vitamin E, more often than not they think of tocopherols—the most prominent being alpha-tocopherol. However, vitamin E refers to a family of eight distinct compounds: four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. While most people are familiar with alpha-tocopherol, other tocopherol forms include beta-, gamma-, and delta-. Similarly, the vitamin E family includes alpha-, bet...
متن کاملAdult extracorporeal life support: a failed or forgotten concept?
BACKGROUND The extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) has been used in the neonatal and childhood periods with excellent results. The adult experience has been modest with inferior immediate results. The intermediate survival, however, has been promising. We have been using the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for temporary mechanical circulatory support of adults that present with acute...
